David Neres of Benfica scored an outstanding goal to help the Portuguese team advance to the Champions League group stage with a 3-0 victory over Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday in Lisbon for a 5-0 overall triumph.

Benfica qualified for the draw on Thursday for the 12th time in 13 seasons with goals from Nicolas Otamendi and Rafa Silva in the first half alone.
For Dynamo, the loss is a sad disappointment because they were unable to secure travel on the day that professional football returned to war-torn Ukraine.
After a last-second own goal by replacement Milan Pavkov gave Maccabi Haifa a 2-2 draw at Red Star Belgrade, they advanced to the group stage 5-4 on the overall score.
The Serbian team had taken the lead in the match after goals from Aleksandar Pesic and Mirko Ivanic, but it was once again in doubt when Daniel Sundgren scored for Haifa just before halftime.
