Choco taco | Klondike stops selling Choco Taco

Due to Klondike’s announcement that it will no longer sell the Choco Taco, those looking to fight the summer heat with some icy ice cream have no longer had that option.

Generations of poolside patrons have long enjoyed Choco Taco, but the summertime delight may soon be gone thanks to owner and ice cream company Klondike.

A Klondike official wrote in an email that “over the past two years, we have experienced an unprecedented rise in demand throughout our portfolio and have had to make some severe decisions to assure the availability of our whole portfolio countrywide.” “We occasionally have to abandon things, even a favorite delicacy like Choco Taco, which is an essential but regrettable part of this process.”

Unilever’s Klondike continues to offer its famous Klondike bar, shakes, and cones in every state.

The Choco Taco is an ice cream treat with fudge swirls that favorite reserved within a waffle cone shaped like a taco shell and then covered in chocolate and peanuts.

Although the Choco Taco isn’t frequently available on grocery store shelves, it is a staple at neighborhood pools and ice cream trucks. The snack was previously sold by Taco Bell, but it has lately returned for a short time and in some locations.

Some Twitter users went into meltdowns after hearing about Choco Taco’s extinction and reminisced about their summer vacations as kids.
