Chris Noth, star of Sex and the City, denies allegations of sexual assault.

The actor declared, “These things may have happened 30 years ago or 30 days ago – no always means no – that is a line I did not cross.”

Los Angeles: Actor Chris Noth of Sex And The City on Thursday refuted claims of sexual assault made against him by two women who contacted The Hollywood Reporter. Noth, who recently returned to the role of Mr. Big in the sequel to the television series And Just Like That…, claimed to have had “consensual” encounters with the ladies in 2004 and 2015. Noth, 67, stated in a written statement that “the charges against me made by individuals I met years, even decades ago are incorrect.” This is a barrier I did not cross: “These stories may have happened 30 years ago or 30 days ago – no always means no.”

The Hollywood Reporter published the accusations on Thursday after receiving their initial inquiries months apart from each other from the two unnamed women.

In 2004, a lady claimed Noth sexually assaulted her in his West Hollywood apartment after she went there to retrieve a book he had temporarily lent her when they had first met at the building’s pool.

She was 22 years old at the time of the event and went to the hospital to get stitches for her wounds, her.

The second lady claimed that in 2015, while they were on a date in New York, Noth brought her back to his apartment, where he allegedly raped her.

Recently, Noth made an appearance in And Just Like That’s premiere episode, in which shortly after exercising on a Peloton exercise bike, his character passes away from a heart attack.

The fitness business swiftly invited Noth to take part in a parody commercial that highlighted the health advantages of its offering.

Peloton has taken down the advertisement and any associated social media posts in response to the accusations.

The two women told The Hollywood Reporter that the recent media attention given to Noth and the Sex And The City sequel was “triggering” and inspired them to speak up.

It was “hard not to question the timing of these reports coming out,” according to Noth.

I did not abuse these women, he insisted, adding, “I don’t know for sure why they are coming to light now.

According to a representative for the LAPD, they are “looking into the nature of the report.”
