There is good news for the fans of former Australia vice-captain David Warner. He has confirmed this through one of his posts on social media. That he will take part in the second phase of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021).

The former captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad has not issued any statement. But shared a picture wearing an orange jersey. Along with this, he wrote in the caption – I will come back.

After this, it had to be postponed to the middle of the season itself. Warner was also dropped as the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad before the tournament was suspended.

New Zealand legend Kane Williamson was given the command after Warner was removed from the captaincy. Sunrisers Hyderabad played 7 matches till the season was suspended. But he got a victory in only one match. The team was at the bottom of the 8 teams table.

David Warner scored two half-centuries in six matches. and scored a total of 193 runs. His strike rate was 110.28, which his fans also did not like as he bats only in the top order. He hit only 15 fours and six sixes in 6 matches. Now he would like to make a strong comeback to help his team make it to the playoffs in the second leg to be held in UAE.
