The first Group A match of the 131st Durand Cup will take place on Tuesday in Kolkata and pit defending champions FC Goa against local juggernaut Mohammedan Sporting. The FC Goa vs. Mohammedan Sporting game will be broadcast live on television.
The tournament theme song will be performed by superstar singers Papon and Reuben Mashangwa during the opening ceremony, which will be brief and entertaining and feature bands from the Armed Forces. The FIFA theme song will be played to wrap up the ceremony.
