Vandana Ramnani from Moneycontrol speaks with Tariq Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer, West India, at Prestige Group, about the firm’s plans in the residential market in this episode of The Moneycontrol Real Estate Show.

The key markets for the group moving forward, according to Ahmed, will be Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Mumbai in terms of size. “These three important markets and a few of the smaller South Indian cities will propel sales. We also planted a flag in Goa, the man adds.
The company also has plans to develop a sizable hospitality project in Delhi that will include more than 800 rooms spread across two hotel properties. It will likely hit the market in two to three years because it is currently being built, he claims.
Sales have reached a record high, he says, adding that “especially in our home markets, we have seen that demand clearly beyond pre-COVID levels.”
The villa and open land concept has helped the company’s flagship project in Bengaluru sell well, and customers are now asking for more space. He ends by saying, “We are witnessing a robust uptick and this bull run is here to stay at least for the medium term.”
