IND vs eng 4th Test: India’s wicketkeeper-batsman and cricket commentator Dinesh Karthik believes. That the defeat in the third Test against England would motivate India to do better in the next two matches. Dinesh Karthik was associated as a commentator in the ongoing five-match Test series between India and England. But he will soon leave for UAE. And they will leave this series in the middle. Because he has to participate in IPL 2021.
The excellent comeback against Australia
Dinesh Karthik said in a column for The Telegraph, “Last time India were all out within 100 runs. So they came back in a great way against Australia. In that sense, they have a little history of falling back. Leeds loss will motivate them to do better in the next two Tests.” India was bundled out for 36 against Australia. Whereas against England the team could score 78 runs.
He said, “No doubt the experience at Leeds was not good, but the Indian players have a lot of experience and quality to make a comeback. When India won the series in England in 2007, Anil Kumble was our only one. There were batsmen who had scored centuries in the series. But there were also five half-centuries in which Mahendra Singh Dhoni and I had 90 runs.
To be played at the Kennington Oval in London from 2 September
He further said, “Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Ajinkya Rahane are the three most experienced batsmen in India. And in five matches they have scored half-centuries only once. But can there be any ground from The Oval to score good runs? ” The fourth match of the five-match Test series between India and England is to be played from today i.e. September 2 at the Kennington Oval in London. This pitch is considered to be batting-friendly.
