These Crafty Employees Really Went Out of Their Way to Make Their Coworkers Laugh

Nowadays, it’s not easy to find devoted employees who are willing to go the extra mile at work. While some people surely dedicate their time and efforts to do a good job, not everyone will do something out of their job description. But then, there are people like Charlene out there. Charlene has been a Walmart employee for some time, and she is known for her charismatic personality that everyone loves.

While some people are used to working in a team and working with people around them at all times, other people work alone. But as this guy is showing us, working alone doesn’t have to be boring at all, as, with some creativity, one can make anyone laugh! He decided that his friend would probably appreciate his silly moves while at work, and went ahead and took a series of photos of himself posing in his green element.

All over the world, there are road signs reminding drivers to drive carefully. This can be in the form of a reminder to drive slow on a wet road, to not drink and drive, or to not use the phone while driving. But most of us have probably seen these signs so often, that they eventually become quite boring. Most road signs look the same, with neon lights and some sort of straightforward reminder to drive safely.

It’s always so much fun to work around people we truly enjoy spending time with. Because the truth is that oftentimes, we spend so much more time with our coworkers than our families throughout the week – so we might as well like them. These three co-workers seem to have it all figured out since this quirky picture highlights just how close they probably are and how much fun they have together.

It’s pretty known that there is this silent (sometimes not so silent) dislike for Starbucks by local coffee shop owners. When the chain began taking the coffee world by storm, smaller and independent coffee shops probably found themselves having to reinvent themselves, while focusing on their reputation and good quality coffee to survive the competition. By the looks of this picture, either an employee, manager or the owners themselves wanted to make a very clear point about the way they felt about Starbucks.

Here’s the thing, sometimes, all a business needs is a little bit of passion and creativity for the smallest details, and chances are that customers will keep returning over and over again. This post shows that just a tiny bit of innovation paired with some humor can go a long way, and it can easily transform a new customer into a returning one. When this person got to the romance section of their local bookstore, they literally couldn’t hold their laughter when they read a sign that said: “Dude, Where’s My Shirt?”

Almost every office has a funny colleague who absolutely thrives from pulling pranks on people. This person is clearly the one who loves doing so because this prank will be remembered by their colleagues for a long time to come. According to them, when a new coffee machine was finally installed in their office, they thought it would be funny to place a sign on it that said that the machine was voice-activated.

Sometimes, it doesn’t take that much to make the people we work with laugh. While some people may dedicate themselves to pulling off the most elaborate pranks, others will do something as simple as what is in this picture. Whoever drew this was probably feeling creative that day, and randomly decided to draw this adorable joke. In one piece of paper, they drew what looks like an alien in a UFO, and in the other piece of paper, they wrote: “UFO caught on tape.”

While we would love to go straight into what happened in this picture, we can’t help but wonder what was the inspiration behind this guy’s parents to name him Kale? The name certainly does sound cool, but it’s a little too much like a certain popular vegetable. He seems to be very proud of it, though. According to this customer, they were walking around the supermarket looking for kale.

When the current pandemic started back in 2020, among the many things that happened, was a phenomenon that none of us will ever forget. Somehow, people from all over the world became completely obsessed with toilet paper, with supermarkets everywhere running out of the precious product on a daily basis. While there was almost no real reason for this, a jewelry store in Australia was ready to make fun of it to the best of their ability.

Hopefully, this joke will be taken lightly by everyone who reads it, because whoever wrote it was feeling truly inspired that day. Now, we have no idea if someone actually did steal anti-depressants from this place or if an employee was just feeling feisty that day, but we cannot ignore how hilarious their joke was. Someone took the sign and wrote in huge black letters: “to the dude that stole our anti-depressants hope you’re happy now.”

Again, there are just some people out there who were made to make others laugh, and they sure seem to enjoy doing so in their workplaces. Some people tell jokes, some prank others, and then others, like this person, take an opportunity and transform it into an unforgettable moment. apparently, this person’s coworker got their hands on a labeler that day and decided to write up some of the most random and funniest labels out there.

Since 1958, NASA has been working on some of the most important civilian space activities in the world, having accomplished several unforgettable milestones to this date. But even in the midst of space and aeronautics research, NASA employees seem to have the time to make up some of the most hilarious dad jokes out there, and this person is certainly one of them. Out of the blue, an employee sent their co-worker a nerdy joke that probably spread to the entire office because it was simply too good to be kept in private.

If you’ve ever driven in Utah, then you’ll probably know that driving on the highway can be a memorable experience, and not in a good way. For instance, drivers may often follow the mph limit rules until a second lane suddenly opens, and suddenly, several people will drive at a dangerously fast pace in order to prevent someone else from passing. The move is pretty dangerous and rude, which is why Utah’s traffic signs have probably become spicy with the years.

Another one of those jokes that are simply too funny to ignore in an office space. In every workplace, there’s that one person who is ready to take a random situation and transform it into an unforgettable joke, and this person did just exactly that. Apparently, a spider had adopted the office as her own, and could often be seen in different spaces. The company’s employees decided to not kill the spider (thankfully), and instead, they adopted her as of their own.

This one doesn’t just happen with workplaces – how many times have we seen groups agreeing to dress up as something, and in the end, only one person took the job seriously? Well, it seems like this guy was the one this time because he was literally the only person who dressed like a smurf after all of his coworkers agree to do so. He actually painted his entire face with blue paint, got a wig, and totally rocked his outfit.

Some hotels all over the world love putting a little bit of effort into their towel designs, with some of the most impressive designs coming out of it. Some of them include animals, flowers, aliens, and whatever this picture depicts. Now, these towel designs can usually be found everywhere with the exception of a toilet seat. But an employee was feeling inspired that day when they thought it would be a brilliant idea to design a person sitting on the toilet while reading a magazine.

We absolutely love it when a business is able to randomly bring in some humor into their work, sometimes with the simplest moves ever. Take this local ice cream shop for example. Someone was definitely feeling creative when they decided to make this crafty cone display. They placed a wafer cone, sugar cone, waffle, and a random pine cone next to one another, showing customers their options to choose from.

We love it when offices really commit to a theme, even if that means creating a situation like this one. Apparently, the employees in this office take Halloween very seriously every year, with each person coming into work with their own creative costumes. This guy dressed up as a shark, even though he was literally conducting an interview on a potential future employee that day. By the looks of this picture, the guy couldn’t be phased about the shark costume, and the interview seemed to be running smoothly.

When Turkish chef Nusret Gökçe, aka Salt Bae became an internet meme, people from all over the world began imitating his technique of flamboyantly putting salt on steaks. For a while, we could see the hand gesture and the famous chef literally all over social media, to the point that it became a bit annoying. But we cannot ignore the fact that this truck owner outdid themselves with the most hilarious use of the meme on the back of the truck.

Just like every office has a funny employee, almost every office has a person who literally won’t stop talking until you stop them. And while these conversations can often be fun and a good way to cool off, sometimes they’re just so long that no one is able to get any work done. It seems like this guy is that person in his office, and a co-worker decided to call him out in the funniest way out there.

Not every office creates a Christmas card every year, but it seems like this photography store does it and they take the task very seriously. In fact, if this is their Christmas card that year, we can only imagine the creativity behind every other year’s Christmas cards, they must be hilarious! The group of co-workers decided to embrace their Scandinavian roots to the fullest, dressed in the greenest costumes, grabbed some candles and decorations, and literally transformed themselves into a human Christmas tree.

So, no wonder that people from all over the world love him, with some fans actually taking their fanhood to a whole other level. Take this employee, for instance. Apparently, they work at a charity shop, and they thought it would be a great idea to include a picture of the guy in every single available frame in the store.

Some people are utterly creative with their workspaces, either physically or digitally. And then there are people like this person’s co-worker, who are able to literally create the most iconic desktop designs with very little effort. Now, we don’t understand much of what is happening here, but similar to those cool zoom backgrounds, this person was able to create a workspace as their desktop wallpaper. But this is not just any workspace out there.

Amongst the many things that came with the Covid-19 pandemic, was a necessary shift in workplaces all over the world. While some office spaces shifted their efforts to the virtual space, stores such as Home Depot had to adapt by adding certain safety procedures to reduce the risk of infection. Someone at this particular Home Depot was feeling funny that day because they managed to create a hilarious sign making the best out of the situation.

People make all types of designs out there, with some of them being a tiny bit weird, and others embracing that weirdness and resulting in this guy’s hilarious mask. Apparently, it was freezing that day, and the guy didn’t feel like warming himself up without looking a little bit cute. So what did he do? He brought this kitty mask that made it look like half of his face was human and the other half was a cat. 

Here’s the deal, there is probably some sort of specific story behind this picture, but we don’t know it. So we can only assume that an employee in this psychiatric ward felt like messing around with their co-workers and with the ward’s patients with this tiara. Instead of having the usual emergency items that almost every building has, this person got a little bit creative and came up with something very random.

This person arrived at a noodles place planning to sit and finish their work while enjoying a nice and hot bawl of noodles. But when they asked for the wifi password, they literally could not help but laugh at the brilliant play of words whoever created this password had done. On a piece of paper, someone wrote: “Wi-fi Password: 123pho56.” While some customers might probably take a few seconds to understand the hilarious pun with words, this customer claimed that once they understood it they were absolutely not disappointed with it.

If you’ve watched The Office, then this image will probably take you back to the countless times Jim put different items in jello in order to prank his colleagues. Funny enough, the prank got so famous that several people decided to do the same in their own workspaces, with guides on how to do it spread all over the internet. Clearly, someone at this office got the memo and decided to create their own version of the jello prank.

Some people out there are able to take humor to work every single day, not only making their days lighter but other people’s days brighter too. According to the person who snapped this photo, the 66-year-old receptionist at this place loves printing different memes and placing them on the wall on a weekly basis. That way, every single person that walks into the place is able to have a laugh in the middle of what is usually a pretty stressful workday for many people.

Okay, there’s just so much happening in this picture that we barely know where to start. But let’s start with the obvious part – are these not the best Halloween costumes created by a group of co-workers ever? These dedicated employees actually went out of their way to dress up as their boss with the tiniest details accounted for. From the baldness to the shirts, the posture, and even the exact same type of shirt the boss loves wearing, they nailed it all.

To this date, we don’t quite understand when people deliberately choose to put some alcohol on a fresh wound. It hurts, burns, and is just one of the most traumatizing pains in this world. And yet, many of us have been constantly reminded of it in the past two years, with the constant use of hand sanitizers as a result of the current pandemic. But the thing is that while hand sanitizers can be a great way to keep us clean, they also do a great job in identifying small cuts that we were unaware of.

We can’t help but think that many more people dress up for Halloween in workplaces than we thought. Though several workplaces may try to implement this fun component to their teambuilding, many people simply prefer to abstain from joining. But, as this guy and other people on this list have shown us, there are some Halloween enthusiasts out there who love wearing a cool outfit to work during the spooky season.

Walking around with masks became part of our day-to-day lives in a way that is hard to believe. Two years ago, walking anywhere with a mask would be seen as something bizarre in most countries, while today, not wearing one may be the odd thing to do. And while some people may not love wearing masks on a constant basis, others have found ways to be playful and to express themselves through the power of a mask. Take this woman, for example.

Here is another employee that loves having a good time at work, and so they took it upon themselves to create that good time through humor. They actually went ahead and created a bunch of fake hazard signs with the aim of placing them all over the office, pranking their co-workers on an almost weekly basis. In the beginning, people probably got confused when they saw the signs, but with time, they just knew right away that they were looking at a fake sign.

We can only imagine how annoying it must be to work in a place where kids and adults alike continuously tap on the glass in order to catch someone’s attention. It seems like this place was over it, but instead of writing a passive-aggressive note, they chose to use some humor to see if they would prevent customers from knocking on that glass. An employee in this ice cream shop located in Amman, Jordan, simply wrote a sign that read: “Pls do not tap on glass it scares the ice cream.”

Some coworkers have the patience to come up with some of the most memorable pranks, and this one is easily one of them. Apparently, this person believes that they own a cute cactus placed on their desk when in reality, their cactus is actually a pickle. Someone has the patience to replace the pickle every two days so that it remains looking somewhat like a cactus, and their coworker keeps believing it.

It’s easy to see from this cute prank that this coworker sure is loved by his colleagues. While he is definitely in for a treat once he comes back from vacation, we can’t help but imagine the laugh he will give after he sees his new and “upgraded” hardware equipment. Somehow, his coworkers managed to find a bunch of vintage computer stuff and replaced his new ones with the vintage ones.

Now, if this was a coincidence, then it might be one of the most brilliant coincidences in calendar history. Apparently, this employee is called Jack, and he was about to take an entire day off. In order to keep track of when he wouldn’t be in the office, his boss decided to add the “event” to their calendar just to keep in the loop. But then, something strange happened with the way the boss wrote down the “event.”

What can we say besides the fact that this person is gloriously talented? Now, we have no idea what their job in this office entails, but we’re guessing that it doesn’t involve baking. So it looks like baking may be a part of this person’s hobbies, but they might as well make it their full-time job because they are quite impressive at it. They are so good that when they arrived at the office with a homemade “Cheesecake” everyone was in complete awe of their abilities.
